RESUMEN

Con el fin de facilitar el conocimiento de la identificación temprana de alumnos con alta capacidad intelectual (superdotación intelectual), hemos publicado este número de IDEACCION, para ello hemos de partir de la base de la importancia de utilizar tests contrastados científicamente y que permitan acceder a toda la población, especialmente de zonas desfavorecidas.

Pensamos que estos cuatro artículos pueden ofrecernos una visión real de la situación.

Comenzamos con la “detección temprana de niños superdotados del nivel de Educación Inicial en el contexto peruano” artículo de Dr. Patricia Elizabeth Gamarra García.

Hemos creído oportuno incluir el artículo publicado en la Revista “Gifted and Talented International” del World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC), del estudio empírico de la identificación temprana de niños de 4, 5, y 6 años con superdotación intelectual de los Doctores Yolanda Benito y Jesús Moro, en base al Test de Screening, fruto de 10 años de investigación, y que fue ofrecido de forma gratuita por estos autores al Ministerio de Educación de España.

El siguiente artículo recoge la investigación y validación en diversos países dadas las muestras de interés a través de diversas Universidades y Ministerios de Educación de varios continentes bajo un Acuerdo de colaboración e investigación, convirtiéndose en una de las investigaciones internacionales más importantes y significativas que se han desarrollado hasta el momento.

Hoy en día nadie discute la importancia y necesidad de la identificación temprana, y es por eso que terminamos este número 38 de IDEACCIÓN con la implicación en nuestros sistemas educativos y legislaciones, para ello presentamos un resumen extraído de la Ponencia del día 31 de octubre de 2017, dentro del XI Congreso Iberoamericano celebrado en formato on-line, con cerca de 4000 visualizaciones.

SUMMARY

In order to facilitate the knowledge of the early identification of students with high intellectual capacity (giftedness), we have published this number of IDEACCION, for this we must start from the base of the importance of using scientifically proven tests that allow access to the entire population, especially from disadvantaged areas.

We think that these four articles can offer us a real vision of the situation.

We begin with the «early detection of gifted children of the level of Initial Education in the Peruvian context» article by Dr. Patricia Elizabeth Gamarra García.

We thought it appropriate to include the article published in the «Gifted and Talented International» Journal of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC), of the empirical study of the early identification of children of 4, 5, and 6 years with intellectual giftedness Dr. Yolanda Benito and Dr. Jesús Moro, based on the Screening Test, result of 10 years of research, and which was offered free of charge by these authors to the Ministry of Education of Spain.

The following article gathers the research and validation in several countries given the interest shown by different Universities and Education Ministries of several continents under a Collaboration and Research Agreement, becoming one of the most important and significant international investigations that have been carried out and developed so far.

Today, no one disputes the importance and necessity of early identification, and that is why we ended this number 38 of IDEACCION with the implication in our educational systems and legislations, for this we present a summary extracted from the Report of October 31st. 2017, within the XI Ibero-American Congress held in on-line format, with about 4000 visualizations.
